About
Community Grand Rounds (CGR) is an education and awareness-building campaign seeking to change how health care providers and the communities they serve, think about, talk about, and take action on structural racism’s impact on health within communities of color. Launched in 2018 in collaboration with Spectrum Health Lakeland, CGR hosts nationally noted health equity thought leaders and community-based conversations called Brave Talks. CGR’s mission is to improve the health of the community by challenging structural racism and ultimately, to heal the trauma of racism.
